Running Assessment Can Prevent Injuries
The running assessment is an extensive biomechanical evaluation that encompasses the analysis of an individuals running style. It is designed to assist the runner with a functional approach towards the management and prevention of running injuries.
During the biomechanical evaluation, the Physical Therapist will provide the runner with feedback regarding running style and form, body and foot structure analysis, running shoe suggestions, orthotic fabrication, and resistive/cross training exercises. This allows the runner with the knowledge necessary to actively maintain a healthy running lifestyle free from debilitating injuries.
